Testing an Analogy for Graph Technologies in Knowledge Graphs

Testing out an idea with a friend, for an upcoming talk about using graph technologies. Does this analogy work to convey a simple introduction to concepts we use in KGs?

The analogy works, although it’s a bit odd that there is no buy/sell in the graph and yet you have it in the tables

It's nice. The idea should be easy to follow for most audiences. I second Avy's point. You don't get sandwiches (bread) in all pubs...and the development of consumer/producer links could be reordered as the slides progress so it makes more sense.

Thank you Alana! Good points. Well, this is a village sometime long ago somewhere deep in the Black Forest 🙂 People who go to the pub are probably hungry after a hard day running away from bears, dragons, Roman legions, Viking raiders, etc.

Lol. That would make it even better. Work the fictional middle ages theme into the narrative.

This was initially written for executives who live not far from the Black Forest. We thought an ancient village theme might work :)
