Future of This Slack Channel: Ongoing or Temporary?

I'm also liking this slack channel. Is this going away in a few weeks, or are there plans to make this an ongoing institution?

Yes, we are going to keep this space open. We are exploring a few avenues but we have a solution to keep it open for all possible scenarios.
