Junior Data Scientist/ML Engineer Position Open in Germany
Hey everybody, I'm extending my team with a junior data scientist/ML engineer. We are building a knowledge graph in the HR domain (and then we'll extend it to a few other ones .. if our results are convincing enough 😅 ). If you are eligible for a working permit in Germany, hit me up. There's only two/three things I am looking for: likes abstract stuff esp. graphs, likes to code in Python (and wants to learn more stuff from the AI/ML domain), is willing to relocate & learn German. We are a tightly knit and diverse team which works on the grounds of close interaction. Yes it's on site work, which may sound old fashioned these times, but as we learn and grow together .. the last two years tell me that nothing beats actual interaction face to face. Title: Junior Machine Learning Engineer/Junior Data Scientist (m/w/d)
Your Role - This is what you'll do
As member of Team Data Science you'll become an expert for the whole breadth of data science in the company––From tiny maintenance and ad-hoc tasks all the way up to designing and implementing whole applications end-to-end
Depending on the task at hand you'll work by yourself or with the whole team. You'll present and discuss your work and your ideas with your coworkers giving and receiving feedback. This enables us to mutually teach, learn and develop together.
Together with the team you'll design, deploy and monitor our applications on the AWS cloud
You'll be instrumental in building, developing and maintaining high performing natural language processing and machine/deep learning solutions

These are the skills we'd like you to bring along!
You finished college with a Bachelors or Masters degree which contained statistics, quantitative methods and object oriented programming
You are interested in quantitative methods and machine learning and have done some project work in this domain
Coding in Python is something you have done at least for some time already, ideally using common guidelines pertaining style and code structure
Connecting to a database and getting the data you need is something you have done before; bonus points if it was a NoSQL or even graph database, but SQL is cool too
You know what natural language processing is and have heard of spaCy and huggingface transformers
You want to know more (a lot more) about semantic search and knowledge graphs
Thinking of algorithms, complex structures and system makes you smile rather than stress out
If your friends were asked to name a quick thinker with a knack for abstraction, they'd name you first
