Seeking Visualization Ideas for Social Media Influence Research

Hi all! I am working with a team of researchers on Social Media Networks and Influence Maximization at Berkeley. We all lean more on the technical/data science side of the research and are starting closer to zero on how to approach visualizing "information cascades" in networks (thinking retweeting/reblogging pathways) for our web deliverable.
