Seeking RDF Datasets for IT Introduction and Metadata Management

I am preparing a short introduction to RDF at my company, and I am looking for motivating example data. Does anyone have positive experiences with particular datasets for purposes like this? My audience is mostly in IT, and RDF for metadata management (like data fabric) is one idea I had. However, I have not found any example data for this. The other option I can think of is to demonstrate Dbpedia or similar general-purpose knowledge graph. I appreciate any ideas.

As I was reading the fourth chapter of Ontology Engineering, there are some more. I am trying to capture those links in the BookClub wiki 馃槈

I like to use personnel record data because everyone understands it: http://www.bobdc.com/blog/whatisrdf/ http://www.bobdc.com/blog/driving-hadoop-data-integratio/ Metadata about media is also a classic use case: http://www.bobdc.com/blog/partialschemas/
