Hi all, I am looking for a Graph DB - which is free or pay as you go and good with scaling - any suggestion, I was exploring a lot of GraphDB but looking for suggestion based on production level use
Stardog is the best option out there, disclaimer, I work for Stardog. We have a free tier for exploration and will be rolling out some other options in the coming months.
Can you give me a comparison between stardog , Arcade db and puppygraph - on cost and scalability side
I am not very familiar with either system, but both are new. I've never heard of anyone using them. I'd be willing to bet we're more scalable given we're a much more mature product. Arcade is open source, so its free. so it's probably your cheapest option. puppy will end up being expensive because they charge by CPU and compute resources, so if you want performance, they will break your bank. we charge only by usage.
I'll say that GraphDB is the best option out there, but I do work for Graphwise. (My personal blog shows that I was a big fan before I joined them.) You can register for a hosted sandbox version and also download and install it with a free license from https://graphwise.ai/components/graphdb/. See more at https://graphwise.ai/experience-area/.
Thanks Bob DuCharme - but I am looking into LPG space only
