Carnegie Hall Partners with Stardog for AI Tool Voicebox

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this exciting announcement from the team here at Carnegie Hall Rose Archives: Carnegie Hall is embarking on a unique partnership with a company called Stardog, to help develop and test an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Voicebox to support online visitors with searching and exploring Carnegie Hall’s performance history of nearly 63,000 events. We’re inviting visitors to the Carnegie Hall Data Lab site to help us with this exciting opportunity. Read more here!

I love your blog, Bob DuCharme – always lots of great things. We're actually not affiliated with Carnegie Mellon (although the original founder was the same person). But I think we have some good data too simple_smile

Bob DuCharme we had some fun with this dataset a few years back on Carnegie Hall Data Lab, with a "This Day in CH History/Billboard Hot 100" experiment – choose a year (back to 1958), see what happened at Carnegie Hall and what was on the Hot 100 that day. When you get to the early 1970s, when there was an explosion of rock concerts at Carnegie Hall, you find more overlap than you might expect!

Carnegie Hall Rose Archives is going to be releasing an RFP for a data management consultant next week and are looking for distribution channels that will hit qualified respondents, especially who are familiar with cultural heritage/arts/non profits. Any suggestions, recommendations, or individuals you'd recommend are appreciated here or directly to me via private message or email (rhudson@carnegiehall.org) - thank you!
